Such a lovely place. You can see the beauty in the evening, if you go. But you can't sit peacefully for more than a minute ,as there's so many mosquitoes .
A very beautiful place where you can sit, walk and enjoy the beauty of sunset and nature.. lighting is low.. but the area is clean.

I went for morning walking to Jorpukhuri Park in Uzanbazar, Guwahati, Assam. The park has been constructed in order to make the area a tourist spot. Our Honorable CM of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, recently inaugurated the Park, on 13th January, Friday. Its as beautiful place to spend some leisure time.
Jorpukuri pond has been renovated into a park. The body of water has undergone improvements and upgrades to transform it into a recreational area for the community. This process usually involves cleaning and beautification the pond, adding amenities such as walking paths, seating areas, and perhaps even play structures(which is unfortunately not added over here) The goal of transforming a pond into a park is to provide a green space for people to relax and enjoy the outdoors, as well as to improve the local environment and increase community engagement.

Monday it remains closed for maintenance
Nice place, free of cost entry, well decorated and best if you visit at evening because of lighting and best place for photography too.
Entry free 20 rs, awesome place to timepass and get mind fresh .In evening alot of people gather and take fresh air and enjoys looking at the different types of beautiful flower in the park.Lot of people brings things to eat and enjoy
